FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
1) Was that first FAQ really frequently asked?
No
2) What about the second or third FAQ? Were they frequently asked?
Also no.
3) How often do you make new content?
Currently, we release one adventure each month, but in the past, and planned for the future, we intend to continue the weekly release schedule with our Adventure, Butcher’s Blocks Bloodbath & Beyond, and Workbench releases.
4) When do you release new content?
Our Adventures release on the first Monday of each month. When they are released, Bloodbath & Beyond typically releases on the second Monday of each month, Butcher’s Block on the third Monday of each month, and Workbench on the fourth Monday of each month.
5) What should be expected from your Adventures?
Each of our Adventures are designed as easy-to-run One-Shot stories that a Game Master should be able to pick up, read through in less than an hour, and run at their game table (or online) with ease. Many of them are standalone stories, and some of them tie together in a larger series, but all can be played individually.
6) What is a Bloodbath & Beyond, Butcher’s Block, and Workbench?
Each of these are the names for our other content releases each month.
Bloodbath & Beyond is a monthly gear drop, being both magical and mundane items. Many of these items are useful, but not integral, in our adventure for that month, and many of these items are powerful (and fun) additions to any game table.
Butcher’s Block is a monthly monster drop, being monsters from a wide range of Challenge Ratings, which also often coincide with that month’s adventure. Butcher’s Blocks are not only a new monster with a stat block but a full history and ecological breakdown of the monster.
Workbenches are a monthly release of all other things! Random tables, worldbuilding writeups, new/homebrew mechanics and rules, anything that fits our fancy, or might be needed for that month’s adventure but also might be too cumbersome to pack within the adventure.
Is Dime Novel Adventures actually ran by three Kobolds in a trench coat?
Kobolds? Never!
