Newsletter 69 – A New Adventure Begins
Happy Belated Monday all!
It is really late... like really late.
Normally, I try to have our Weekly Newsletter out around 9:00 AM CST, but as I'm writing this, it's closer to 6:30 PM. So, what happened?
Well... I just had a baby!
As you can probably imagine, the last few days have been a little busy, and it looks like the next few weeks (or months!) are going to be just as eventful. While we're incredibly excited for this new chapter of life, it does mean things around Dime Novel Adventures may move just a little slower than normal for a little while.
Adventure:
Normally, this would be the final week to grab The Putrid Mire for free before October's Adventure takes its place.
Unfortunately, between the final countdown to our daughter's arrival and, well... her actually arriving... we aren't quite on track to have October's Adventure ready for release next Monday.
That could certainly change, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Instead, The Putrid Mire will remain our free monthly adventure until October's Adventure is ready to take its place. If you haven't picked it up yet, now's a great time!
The Putrid Mire continues the Return of the Dragon Queen campaign, sending adventurers deep into the flooded Temple of Mirevarax, where ancient ruins, ravenous piranhas, and the fearsome Moldraltha, the Mire King await.

A new chapter of the Theta Campaign – Return of the Dragon Queen is now live! Session 39 released this past Friday and continues the campaign following the party's confrontation with Sandria Mortessa.

Over the next several weeks we'll continue releasing the next few episodes while we work to catch our adventure releases back up.
Saturday Morning Coffee
Since our daughter decided Saturday was the perfect day to arrive... there wasn't a Saturday Morning Coffee stream this weekend. Go figure.
For the next few months we'll probably be playing things by ear. If I can make a stream happen, and it's likely to be more than just a sleep-deprived man mumbling into a microphone, we'll absolutely be there. If not... Well... There's always next Saturday.

Behind the Scenes:
We've also begun adding commissioned artwork to bring more life to the world of Return of the Dragon Queen. Our newest addition is Prinze Dragoon, illustrated by Lucas Martins, and he's now available to view in our Gallery on the website.
He's only the beginning. We already have another character commission preparing for release, and we're excited to share that with everyone soon.
We're also quietly working on a larger project behind the scenes that we hope to unveil in the coming weeks as life settles into its new rhythm.
